Exactly as advertised
I have a Bog Pod "Red Legged Devil", which is good but I'm going to be using a heavy rifle, scope, and IR light, so I wanted something a little more "heavy duty". I ordered the Death Grip Tripod and it seems to be more than twice what the "Red Legged Devil" is. It is more than capable of holding my ...

so the legs broke while in the 85 setting. everything was fine till I set my 16LB precision rifle into the clamp then I noticed the legs sag down till the bottom of the center column was touching the the ground. I noticed 2 of the legs did not lock into the 85 position and were folding up under the...

Death Grip
Easy ordering process, great price, fast shipping. The tripod comes fully assembled which was a plus.

Stable and strong
This tripod is great for predator hunting. The only thing I have found I don't love is the height with 2 sections extended is not at standing height. So I need to extend the last section partially. But that isnt really an issue.
Pros:
- stable
- Strong
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Awesome Tripod
I’m no professional outdoorsman so I can’t speak to how this thing holds up in the wilderness of the Alaskan tundra, but it serves my purpose of range use just fine; would suit whitetail hunting just fine too. Easy to operate and solid, especially for the entry level price range.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- features
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Spotting
- Hunting 10yd - 300yds
- range & target shooting

Bog Deathgrip
This is the second bog I own now. One for me and one for the step son. I’ve used them to zero in optics and a few times just looking around with the thermal scope. It’s a lot better than holding your firearm up for long periods of time. It’s great for what it’s intended for. Great for turkey hunting as well.
Pros:
- Great at holding your firearm for long periods
Cons:
- Kind heavy and $$$$$
Best Used for:
- Coyote,Turkey, hogs
Would recommend: Yes

Pricey byt works well
This is a must have if taking a youth hunting. Works well in ground blinds. Takes the holding gun up out of the equation. They can focus on proper target acquisition in scope and squeezing trigger.
Would recommend: Yes
Must Have Tripod
If you shoot outdoors this is a must have. Very lightweight and is compact enough to carry out into the field. Creates a very solid shooting platform for those long range shots. I like the ability to lock the legs at different angles depending on if I am standing or sitting. I am 6'2" and at full height it is easy to shoot from without and crouching or what not.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Sturdy
- Portability
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
