Absolutely love the carbon fiber bog death grip tripod - BOG Death Grip Clamping Tripod

Excellent quality tripod that is able to support my AR-15 perfectly. Very stable platform that is easy to set up and break down. Perfect solution for us coyote hunters who don't feel like dumping $500 - $700 into a tripod, ball head, hog saddle, etc. I managed to pick up the Carbon Fiber from Optics Planet on sale for $206, which is vastly cheaper than other sites. It's a tad on the heavy side if you're walking a long distance to reach a hunting location. However, must of the time when I'm walking to a stand, the distance from the vehicle to where I'm setting up is less than a 1/4 mile, and it Death Grip is easy to manage. If I was going to be walking mile after mile with it, I can see where it would get old quickly. My only recommendation would be to buy a tactical tripod sling so you can throw it over your shoulder.
