Most Helpful Positive Review Easy to use and intuitive
This is my first tripod but I’m glad I bought this model. Not only does it have the death grip, but you can use arca right out of the box. Adjusts anywhere from standing to prone. Unit arrived packaged extremely well and I couldn’t be happier.
Most Helpful Negative Review DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
Coming from the original death grip i had high hopes. but right outta the box it was missing pieces and had a defective ball head that would not tighten up to hold it to the tripod. OP made the return easy so 5 stars to them.

Great tool

by Josh, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on December 12, 2025
I bought my first one about 2 years ago I believe, the aluminum one to assist with my son’s hunting, he's small boy and it really helps him. Now im getting old and I dont move the way I used to and do alot more “sitting” while hunting not the walking miles over mountains of my youth. So i thought I want one too, so easy for me and my boy to set up in a blind and hunt and be accurate, also never have to set your rifle down, as it stays in place. Making spooky deer while moving less of a problem. Also use them at the range alot and it also holds my spotting scope in the tall position so I or other can stand and spot. Over all amazing product, as for aluminum vs carbon I dont know if either is “better than the other. The carbon is definitely lighter for me to carry, thats about it that Ive noticed. So get either carbon or aluminum you wont regret either.
Pros:
  • sturdie well built
Cons:
  • cost
Best Used for:
  • Range
  • Target / Hunting

Excellent Tripod

Has clamps to fit my spotters scope or all of my rifles, lightweight, easy to adjust, probably a little pricier than it needs to be but still an excellent product

It’s good for the money.

by Davidthearcher, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on January 5, 2025
Overall, the construction seems good. I’m still figuring it out. Some people complain that there isn’t a center post to change elevation. I can see that, although it would add substantial weight. Others complain that the swivel control is all in the ball head. I think I like it, because one knob controls cant, elevation, and rotation. I could see where separate rotation could be useful.
Pros:
  • Solid platform to shoot from
Cons:
  • Heavy (not much anyone can do about that)
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • shooting

This thing is great! Easy to adjust height and the ball head makes it easy to swivel your firearm to wherever you need it. The DeathGrip holds it level and in place at whatever angle you need.

It’s nice but!

by In Our Blood Outdoors, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on January 3, 2025
The Bog Death Grip infinite is nice but the ball head is not user friendly so if you buy it replace the head. Little Crow Gunworks has a kit that will make it a 5 star tripod.
Pros:
  • Good a light
Cons:
  • None

Lightweight. On sale

by Barry, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 5, 2024
My first tripod for rifle. Came in brand new in box. Haven’t shot it yet. Opened box just to make sure it’s not molded like the other reviews. I got tired of bringing my table so I’ll be using this while plinking in the desert. Will be using for Ruger PR and aero ar M5 build. Tripod is more than enough for what I need. The ball head and arca Swiss sold me to buy this one.
