I am a professional outfitter, guiding hunts for various game in Mexico that requires light strong tripods on which to use various optics, and occassionally, use for a shooting rest. These tripods are the very best on the market for for what I use them for.

Strength without weight
this tripod is used in rough country big game hunting. Used as a mount for high powered binoculars and spotting scopes. Must be, an is strong enough to use as a shooting rest on occassion. Works perfectly. A wonderful multi-use tool in a light package.
