the sheath is a snug fit for the Boker trapper pocket knife, which is necessary since there is no other way to secure the knife. Case knives are a bit too large to fit within this sheath without messing around with it and probably making it unfit for use with any knife. luckily, Case has sheaths to fit their knives, so quit worrying about them. I like the loop to slide the belt through rather than slits in the leather (more like a holster). sheath construction is simple and well made and it looks nice without being gaudy. the only thing that I would keep an eye on is the slender strap that circles the sheath to secure the bottom of the belt loop in the back. this could be a possible weak link. as with just about anything, how long something lasts and how much useful service it provides is pretty much determined by the care it gets from its owner. incidentally, the sheath does not look like the one shown. it is much sleeker and is small enough to be worn on the belt with very little evidence that it is there. enjoy, enjoy!
