Most Helpful Positive Review Ski Instructor/IMS safety crew
I've taught skiing since 1992, and have worn Bolle's since 1993. LOVE them, especially the RX adaptor... maybe it's my local optical store, but mine was able to lower the bifocal part to account for skiing needs. They also worked so well for Keeping people safe as they rode the trams at Indianapolis...

Most Helpful Negative Review Unwanted Changes
Bolle apparently changed the lens at some time so that the lenses from the new frames are too large for older frames and the old, too small for the new so any set of prior lenses are of no value in the new frames. Pros: Some lenses only available with initial purchase Cons: New lenses not compatible...

Sporting Clay glasses

by Kevinb, Verified Owner from MN, United States Written on April 13, 2017
Good quality and fast service, 2nd pair of inserts I've bought and have not been disappointed. I us my inserts in my Bolle's for shooting Sporting Clays. They are the most affordable interchangeable lens prescription glasses I have found.

Parole RX Lens Adapter

by RZ, from AZ, United States Written on August 14, 2015
I've been using the Parole sun glasses exclusively for tennis. They're really great but my eyes need minor correction so I thought I'd give the adapters a try. I got the adapter and prescription lenses from Optics Planet. The adapter fit fine and lens prescription was correct. Unfortunately the adapter frame reduces field of view and along with the lenses adds significant weight. Without adapters I barely knew I was wearing sun glasses. Not so with adapters. Bottom line is that they're OK for normal wear but not great for active sports. I'll go back to just the sun glasses. The fuzzy vision is less annoying than the added weight and restricted view.

Not surprisingly, there is no refund on the adapter with RX lens.

Bolle Tennis Glasses Adapter for Prescription

by TennisLefty, from CA, United States Written on July 7, 2015
This Prescription Adapter is great. It is easy to put into the frame and it fits into the frame securely. And it works very well with the Competivision tint to help me play tennis better.

Before, I was using the Bolle Tennis Glasses without corrected vision lenses. Now, with the prescription added by way of the adapter, it is easier to pick the tennis ball sooner and start moving and set up sooner to return the ball.
Pros:
  • Works well and easy to use and clean
Cons:
  • None

Bolle Prescription Lens Adapter

by Rod Koehler Koehler, from CA, United States Written on March 19, 2015
Excellent product and the only way to use Bolle Competavision sunglasses for tennis if you need a prescription. This is my second lens adapter as my prescription changed after three years of using the first pair.

After some internet research, I'm so glad I found Optics Planet and the prescription inserts for Vigilante glasses. They are fantastic for tennis! Optics Planet was wonderful on the phone before I ordered, and my order was done perfectly and delivered on schedule. I could not ask for a better product or better service.

Prescription adapter

Have used these for umpiring and golf for several years. They are great! You get the protection of wraparound sun glasses and your prescription. Best thing is that no one know you are wearing prescription glasses.

Very useful

by Legacy Reviewer, from VA, United States Written on October 8, 2013
The only disadvantage to this insert is that it closes off an opening in the frame which normally allows for ventilation. This means that the lenses may fog up in some situations more so than they would without the insert.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: closes off ventilation opening in fram
