Most Helpful Negative Review Beware of handguard compatibility!
This is avery nice product and it mates nicely with my PWS Mod2 lower, but it is NOT compatible with many of the handguards out there. I wanted to use this with a Geissele - no go. Tried a Seekins - no go. I ended up ordering a Bootleg PicLOK handguard.

Bootleg AR15 Lightweight Upper

Excellent fit and finish. Tight fit with the barrel and lower. Light weight and design that gives the AR a distinctive style. I did need to do a little machining on the front to get the hand-guard to fit properly. Overall, I'm very happy with this upper.

Super light!

This upper is very lightweight and well made. When I took it out of the box I was amazed at the quality of the upper. I was very happy that it has the same aesthetics as my PWS lower. I would definitely buy this upper again.

Love Bootleg upper

The design is awesome, love the unique look and the fact that it is very lightweight. I have this running on my ar pistol and has Lightened it up quite a bit. The fit is pretty good and has a very durable finish.

Need to order a couple more of these and definitely will when they hit the same price point again. Got mine for around $155... couldn’t be happier with the Bootleg Upper I’m building. Using this and their 7” PicLok Handguard! Perfect combination!

Solid Upper for my Frankenbuild AR15

I like the idea of Bootleg removing the forward assist. I'm not out in the jungle (anymore). I got this for my Frankenbuild and it worked out great. Fits well with other manufacturers lowers. I applied this upper to other lowers such as Spikes Tactical, Aero Precision and even Anderson. No issues at all. I highly recommend this upper. Great lines as well.!!
