This is a nice stock that fit my CZ 457 American. My barrel is smaller diameter than the varmint models so there is room in barrel channel (definitely free floating). Have only had it a week, and haven’t had it to the range yet. You will have to torque it down good, or bed the stock inletting. I bedded at front and back action screws. I also placed a few strips of aluminum tape along sides. It is very snug now. This stock also comes with a recoil lug which surprised me. I feel it was a good purchase. God bless
