Great quality, poor fitment - Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Featherweight Thumbhole Remington 700 ADL Long Action Factory Barrel Channel Stock

This is the second Boyds product I've purchased. The first was years ago a stock set to replace worn out wood on an old 1200 shotgun. The stock was cut wrong and didn't even come close to lining up so I returned it. It had been a while so I ordered this for my Remington 700 and this gun stock did not fit where the holes would line up. I spent an hour or 2 filing the inside to make it right. It looks great now and feels solid now, just be aware in my experience these have not bolt on items...
