Stock review of boyd’s thumbhole stock - Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Featherweight Thumbhole Savage Axis/Edge Detachable Box Mag Short Action Factory Barrel Channel Stock

This stock came just as described. It was packaged safely and securely. There were no scratches or dings, which provided a stylish and rugged finish. It’s much better than the polymer stock that came with the rifle. Needless to say the original stock had to be replaced due to falling out of a tree stand and breaking. It was time for an upgrade. This stock fits tightly and you can see the detail to fit the action and barrel. Plus the barrel is free floating, so it should help with accuracy. This is my second Boyd’s stock, the first is an At-One stock, and I am extremely pleased with the products. Thank you for doing great work on rugged, reliable and beautiful stocks. I will look at Boyd’s if I need to replace one on another rifle.
