This was a direct drop in for my Savage Axis in .223. The stock is light years ahead of the original polymer the rifle came in. This stock was milled and pillar bedded meaning it was ready to go out of the box. Optic Planet had it at a discount, so it was a no-brainer.
Pros:
  • Nice color options, good price, great quality
Cons:
  • Slightly heavy, but good for the bipod I use
Best Used for:
  • Bench shooting, bipod useage with varmits
