I took up refurbishing old 22’s (Roger &Marlin) for my grand kids for something to do during COVID lockdown. Thought I would make one for myself Received my Boyd’s thumb hole stock and I’m truly shocked at the quality color and precision the stock has to marlin 60 crossover parts!! Can not wait to start my build!! AAAAA product !!! (I am not a paid writer...but u can send me cash if ya want)

Rimfire Varmint Thumbhole for Marlin 60

Easy ordering, great price compared to Boyd's website, free shipping, and easy process for returns (which I don't plan to do, BTW).
The install into my Marlin 60 was super easy. Looks fantastic.

The only warning I would have for someone looking to do this upgrade (COMPLETELY separate from any Optics Planet considerations) is to make sure you either: 1) have a Marlin 60 with the correct trigger guard, or 2) your Marlin can be fitted with one of the aftermarket trigger guards from DIP Products.

Boyd’s stock

Overall nice finish and good fitment. Butt pad is a little sub par but does the job. I would recommend this stock to anyone. It’s very comfortable. It’s a good way to make any gun look like eye candy.
