Horrible fit
I ordered this to replace the stock on my Winchester 94 with cross bolt safety. I ordered it with a fore stock to match. It arrived after a very lengthy wait (months) and I was excited to make my rifle look like new with nice walnut. Front mounted up great, though the fit to the receiver wasn't the best, but doable. The rear is absolutely horrible. The fit to the receiver is atrocious with large gaps and extra wood around the tang. When I cycle the rifle the hammer now won't engage the seer. It falls back down immediately. I've spent hours and hours trying to figure out why it's not working...

Absolute joke
It said for post 94 Winchester. It’s not even close to working. Tried for a refund and I get no where. Sent the item back to sender and still no refund! Steer clear of optics plant there a true scam.

very pleased
very nicely crafted stock, and looks way better than the pictures on the website. this fit my winchester 94 30-30 post 64 receiver tangs very well. needed a little sanding on the inside to keep the hammer from getting pinched. boyds makes a good stock.
