Bag meets or exceeds all my expectations. Good materials and construction.

Really nice durable bag, this thing will carry a flat and my glasses. It also holds my cleaning supplys and my choke tubes as well. Most impressive! I highly recommend this for any clay shooting sport.

This bag showed up today. Appears to be very well built. Started loading it up with all my gear- ear protection, shooting gloves, cleaning rags etc. seems to have plenty of room without excess bulk. I bought it to go with the Boyt 30” soft case for my 12 ga. over/ under. I’m looking forward to getting out to the range and putting these to good use!

Received my Boyt Sporting Clay Bag from Optics Planet recently and put it to good use. Plenty of room to carry ammo, and anything else I might need. I have used Boyt products over the years and they perform well and last. I am very pleased.

I like this bag and use it 2-3 times a week to carry shells, tools, eyes, ears, etc.., to the range. The large interior pocket easily holds 8 boxes of 12 gauge along with my large Orvis shell bag and belt. The plastic floor in the main compartment helps with all of the weight along with the 4 plastic feet on the base exterior. Side pockets are very adequate but the front flap pocket is very limited. The elastic choke loops are almost impossible to use. I would reco a gusseted pocket to improve accessibility going forward. Durable material, handles and shoulder strap. Nice bag.

Well made just like you would expect from Boyt. Perfect size to hold all the gear you and accessories you will need when out on a sporting clays course. Plenty of room for 4+ boxes of 12 gauge shells and storage for your extra choke tubes and wrenches.

I have quite a few Boyt pistol and shotgun cases, so I was pre-sold on Boyt quality. This is a high quality bag and I would recommend it to anyone. I don't care for the shoulder strap, which I don't see a need for. I did try it once, but it was slippery and slid off my shoulder, so I removed it.

This bag is well constructed, as far as stitching goes, but it has some annoyances. The leather used is VERY stiff, so the button snaps on the handle easily unsnap. In fact it's impossible keeping them snapped together. I tried to soften the leather through several means to no avail. Sturdier buttons should have been used if the manufacturer was going to use cheap leather. The next two things may not bother anybody else, but they may be worth mentioning. (It may also be worth mentioning that I'm female and like style as much as function). I didn't like the look or feel that the hard plastic base gave the bag. Once the bag is picked up, the bottom is flat as a board. It annoyed me more than anything else, so I cut the nylon inside the bag to remove the plastic base, replaced it with foam padding, and sewed it back up. Your less expensive nylon bags are better thought out in this regard. I also don't like the look of the plastic feet on the bottom of the bag (that aren't shown in the picture). They look cheap and are worthless in protecting the bottom of the bag.

What I like about the bag is the canvas and color, as opposed to the basic black nylon bags. I also like that you can lock the zipper handles together.
