Boyd’s 28” padded takedown case - Boyt Harness Signature Series Takedown Canvas Case

I needed a soft takedown case for my Remington Model 8 semi-automatic rifle made in 1909 and chambered for .35 Rem. Yes, the front barrel/forearm assembly can be separated from the receiver/stock assembly much like an over/under shotgun. The rifle fits perfectly inside the case and the rifle sits deep enough to leave room for (4) boxes of factory ammunition to fit on the zippered opening end of the case. The case turns this rifle into a compact camping/survival gun. The case is very well made and gives off that “old school” vibe which matches the rifle very well.
