Good Soft Case
This is a good soft takedown case that fits my shotgun perfectly. It is handy for traveling with the shotgun and the zipper can be locked with a small padlock.
Do Not store the gun in this case as it gathers moisture like all soft cases.
Pros: good protection

I have many of these, at first, it was due to reducing the footprint. Now have many reasons. Quality of materials, workmanship, and pride of ownership. Have tried imitations, keep coming back. For me, their is no other choice for a take-down firearm. Only flaw is it is not lockable.

Take care of your firearm
Originally I purchased one for transporting a Model 12 Winchester, then I found it was easier to store my gun because it was much shorter. I have read that they cause your firearm to rust. Use proper care, do not put a damp gum in ANY case. For years I have used the silicone infused socks and have never had any rust.
Today, I have many Boyt Harness Canvass cases. I have not ever used a better one. I also use their long gun cases for my Rifles.

Protect your Investment
Some things just get better with time. Boyt Harness products have been around for a long time. I have used many different gun cases from cheap to fitted luggage cases. My choice it Boyt Harness, they are worth every penny, and Optics Planet is a great place to get them.

Boyt Two Barrel Shotgun Case
The case is not the same quality as the sam Boyt case I bought ten + years ago. Padding is thinner and generally lighter all around. The item I received was not the right one in that I received a case for a single barrel breakdown shotgun Vs a two barrel set that I had requested. The item has been returned and I am waiting for a refund.

Browning Superposed
I have had a Browning Superposed for 42 years and never had a breakdown case. I recently decided I wanted something that would fit in the bottom of my rolling duffel. This 28inch version is perfect. Nicely padded, has a separator that runs the full length and loads easily in and out of both sides. Appears to be well made with quality materials. I would buy it again, however the carrying strap seems to be a mix of carry handle and shoulder carry both ways are a bit awkward.

Boyd’s 28” Padded Takedown Case
I needed a soft takedown case for my Remington Model 8 semi-automatic rifle made in 1909 and chambered for .35 Rem. Yes, the front barrel/forearm assembly can be separated from the receiver/stock assembly much like an over/under shotgun. The rifle fits perfectly inside the case and the rifle sits deep enough to leave room for (4) boxes of factory ammunition to fit on the zippered opening end of the case. The case turns this rifle into a compact camping/survival gun. The case is very well made and gives off that “old school” vibe which matches the rifle very well. Don’t hesitate to purchase one if you are in need of an affordable takedown case for your gun.

Beautiful!
I bought these on sale and can't recommend them enough. Quilted, padded, leather, well-designed, and can be used for other platforms. Nice as gifts too. Unfortunately made in cHiNa, but Boyt usually produces above average gear and this is another example.
