I shopped for at least a couple hours on the internet for the best fitting soft case for my new Baretta 1301. My new shotty is 38” and this Boyt case is 42” which is just about the smallest to find. The case isn’t nearly as nice as the old-shool, but my 1301 fits in just about as good as it gets.

My range master was very happy with the product. For as many as we had to buy, it was reasonably priced and serves it purpose well. It seems to be a durable product that will withstand the rough treatment it will likely get going in and out of cruisers. The pocket on the side is nice for the spare magazines, ammo or cleaning supplies for the shotgun.

This was for a "cheaper" tactical shotgun, so I didn't want to spend too much money. Turns out this case is great. Well built and strong. Fits my shotgun perfectly and provide good protection. Looks good too. Can't really ask for more...
Pros:
- well made
- Inexpensive
- good protection

Like the case, perfect range bag, don't like that I can't put my TRS-25 optic on the shotgun and fit it in the bag. Its a very narrow case. Generally I decided to put the optic on something else though, since I decided having that optic on a scattergun was a tiny bit silly, at least for my applications. Doesn't come with a strap, but its still good bang for the buck at 30 dollars.
Pros: Well made, fits a Remington 870 tactical like a glove.
Cons: Shotgun with optic won't fit (or at least not very well). Fabric not as rugged and heavy feeling as some competing gun cases

I purchased the Boyt cases at first with Inercept. Not pleased at all. Returned them for the the cases with out, and they are much better. The case looks like it will stand up to a lot of use.I will get back to you if not!!!!!!
Pros: Looks to be well made. The pocket on the outside is a big plus
