Must have staple lubricant
This should be a staple in any cleaning kit or field kit. If I was going on an extended hunt this is what i would bring. It is not the absolute best lube buts that OK because it does its job good enough. I suppliment it with grease on high wear points (like ar bolt carrier contacts).
Pros: cleans, lubes and protects with 1 product
Cons: not the absolute best at any 1 thing however
Best General Purpose CLP
There are plenty of great CLP's and gun lubricants out there, and it's easy to overthink which is the "best" one. Break Free is a time tested and reliable do-it-all CLP. It's like the Glock of the lubricant market. It isn't exceptional at anything, but it just works across the board. I've been using it for around 20 years and although I've tried other CLP's I always come back to Break Free.

Worked well on my rifle
Ordered the 1 gal CLP and use it on my rifle. So far so good. I like it and my equipment runs well.

Gun Cleaner
Great product,clean and oil well..cleaning didn't take long at all, I was ready to do 50 more rounds.i will buy again.

I've used this stuff for years. Works fantastic! I use another product to clean the gun and then follow-up with break free. Outstanding product and highly recommend it. Military used it for years for a good reason. Optics Planet has it at a great price.

Always worked.
I've been using Break Free CLP for over 35 years in my airguns and firearms with great results. It's all i used in the rimfires and in the old centerfires I use it alone for quick cleaning. If I need to clear out copper I do my normal cleaning then use a product for copper and then use CLP for protection. Never had any issues and the bores never had corrosion and always cleaned up quick with a few passes of a bronze brush. I have even used it to protect several items other than firearms. I used a different product recently for a couple new guns and they were the only ones with bore damage after an issue with a wet basement where the gun safe is.

An old favorite
Been using CLP/Breakfree for many years and rely on its capabilities to do the jobs I need done. My supply was running low and found it here at Optics Planet so I ordered some. I have no doubts it will perform as it always has.

Super easy
I have used brushwood Casey for awhile and thought I would give this a shot. Great product with great results. I don’t know that is better than the birch wood Casey but just as good.

I've been using this product for decades. First introduced to it while in the military. It's my go-to on all firearms especially works well on the AR platform.
