Jesse Sando's Review of Breek Arms Breek-LOK 3QD Quick Detach Suppressor Mount

Preface- i don't have experience with every mounting system. This is comparing it to direct thread and the YHM systems which I use.

Great materials and finish work, quality is outstanding and robust. This is THE FASTEST attachment method I know of, let alone the detach which takes literally 1/6 of a rotation to remove. If you are using a "universal" suppressor among many different weapons, then this is a great option. I use this on a 9mm can which sees use on rimfire, .308, 5.56, and 9mm rifles. I can swap it from gun to gun very quickly unlike direct thread.

It does seat on a taper, BUT that does not mean that it sits in the same position every time. This is not as repeatable as other taper mount systems. It is drawn down on the taper rather than spun into the taper if that makes sense. So do not expect the same POI shift unless you mark your suppressor to time it. You can rachet the system tighter or looser each time since it is just held on under tension. Nothing actually "locks" into place. When it ratchets down, it is only drawing tension onto the lugs and taper. That 1/6 turn counterclockwise just releases the lugs and then you must continue to spin it to release that draw.

It does add more length than other systems, but barely any weight as it is titanium. My only complaint is the cost (depending on where you buy it from). I know there are many parts, and it is made of titanium, but I think they should have made a stainless version to cut down the cost. Most people would probably buy this system if the HUB was cheaper since the muzzle devices are very affordable. Also there is a concern of material erosion as it is exposed to the brunt of the gasses in the blast chamber and titanium does not fare well long term against that.

All in all I'm very happy with the system despite the price.
