Most Helpful Positive Review AWESOME!!!!
I love this product. Not that 5.56 has much recoil but adding this to my gun reduced the recoil quite a bit. You will notice a difference. Not to mention it looks cool.
Most Helpful Negative Review smaller than it looks
This muzzle brake is much smaller than it looks online. It doesn't do much in way of recoil reduction. When it starts to get heated up, it caused a POI shift

Great Brake for the price!

by Hunter, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on May 6, 2025
This is my second Breeks Arms 2 Port Brake I have purchased, both for 556. I have to admit they hold up just as good as my two other muzzle brakes that both cost 95-120 a piece. Great product, and I get to save money for ammo!

Good 223 muzzle break Not so good crush washer.

by OldShooter, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on April 30, 2025
I like this muzzle break. I bought it to use on a Ruger 22 Charger and not on a 223.

When I test fitted it, it was pretty good but needed about a quarter turn to hit the timing correctly. The crush washer was so stiff, I couldn't get a quarter turn out of it, so I wound up shimming it. With the shims, the timing was close but off by a couple of millimeters past dead on. I could have fixed off by a couple of millimeters ahead of zero, but not past it. .

I'm shooting 3/4 inch, or less, groups at 25 yards after the changes I've made to the Charger and without the muzzle break, so I decided to leave it off because the muzzle break wasn't likely to improve anything up to the point of a just noticeable difference, and there was a chance it would degrade the accuracy.

However, this is a well made break, but it needs some shims, as well as a crush washer, in the package.

Good slim muzzle device

by Joey, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on December 19, 2024
This muzzle device is pretty slim and square. It definitely added some better control and less rise on a 16inch upper. I am going to try it on a 10.5 inch upper and see if the recoil reduction is more noticeable.

Fun Size, Looks Good, and Affordable

by Jake De Muss, Verified Owner from New Zealand Written on December 19, 2024
This muzzle brake is very small! It measures about 1/2" wide and 1-3/4" long. I'm using it on my Ruger 10/22, so it worked out, but I wouldn't use it on a 223/556 caliber firearms.
Pros:
  • compact
  • Affordable
  • Nice finish
Cons:
  • Too Small for 223/556 Caliber
Best Used for:
  • .22 Rimfire Caliber Rifles and Pistols

Works as advertised

by AG11, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on September 25, 2024
Not much recoil reduction as far as I can tell. Maybe it's due to the 16" barrel. But it looks cool and has good quality. Love the fireball.
