Didn't work with a piston converted upper.
Has weird ridges inside where the bolt key rides and wouldn't slide on a Adams Arms piston carrier. Works ok on DI upper, but what are the ridges even for?
Yep it works
Bought this for a new 7.5in 300 blk build to run suppressed. Videos show what it’s supposed to do and for the price I took a chance. First mag down range confirmed I made a good purchase. I noticed immediately that it stopped the gas from hitting me in the face through the back of the charging handle. Picked up my other suppressed 300 and shot it and needless to say I am ordering another sledgehammer for that one as well. It just works. My Radian charge handle will be headed for the parts bin when the 2nd sledgehammer arrives.

I highly recommend the SLEDGEHAMMER or even BREEK's Warhammer Ambi charging handles , I have bought at least 15 for my own use and STOCKING STUFFERS for friends at Christmas or for birthdays !!! I can not be more positive about my like of this products durability , craftsmanship or BEST YET , it's price !!!

great charging handle
Purchased this charging handle for a new 6mm ARC build. Yes the build is suppressed. Fit, finish, performance are superb. This will be my go to charging handle moving forward.

Great for keeping gasses away from face!
Great size, works great with scopes that may cover the charging handle. My first ambi and man love it !!! Also good for moving gasses away from your face, especially when suppressed. I recommend it for people that are on a budget. Again great quality for a great price!

My favorite charging handle
The Breek Arms Sledgehammer has become my favorite charging handle. It feels more substantial than their Warhammer series. It is easy to grasp but the handles are not too long. It also has good gas busting features similar to the PRI Gas Buster or Griffin SNATCH charging handles. I have a few of these and will be purchasing more.

Just as good as radian raptor
I always buy radian raptor charging handles, and I wanted to try another brand. I originally purchased the Warhammer from this company and it felt a little too small for my liking. So I waited for the sledgehammer to go on sale and when it did, I bought it. This sledgehammer is nearly the same as radian as far as size and feel. It has a deep shelf on the backside for gas blowback and in my fingers, it feels just like the radian raptor. The difference when these are on sale compare to radians pricing is between $20 and $40 depending on sales. To me, if the sledgehammers stay on sale for around $50-$60ish, I would keep buying these sledgehammers all day long. I love this product so far.
