Mount rings poor QC
The telescope itself seems fine, however right off I noticed the rings did not look parallel. I removed the rings and was very surprised to see that the screws holing the mount rail to the rings was not just loose, but obviously misaligned as well. This was apparently just thrown together without regard for proper alignment and tightness. The nice plastic protective strip that goes around the rim on the front of the tube would no to stay on, falling off Avery time I removed the tube cover. It just makes me wonder what other shoddy build I an going to find.

Bresser 208mm f3.9 Newtonian
The telescope is excellent and does what one would expect it to. The crayford focus mechanism is smooth. The handle on the cradle rings makes life easier. Collimation couldn’t be easier with the no tool design using thumbscrews, also the mirror is center marked making the process as easy as can be. Bottom line this es a great scope at a great price.
