I got one of these as a birthday present . The mount is weak and threads easily strip allowing things to turn. Sighting in was nearly impossible because unless you tighten to the point of stripping the threads, the mount moves. You must have someone to help also. Once I had the laser sighted in and switched back to the range finder it was obviously not lined up correctly and ranges were not correct. Went back an forth several times and finally gave up. they would have been better off mounting a site on top of it to sight it in, the two part system was useless and the mounts need major upgrades. can't even use it as a hand held since there's no way to aim it. Mine ended up back in the box and probably will be tossed out since I can't return it
