I bought this shortly before heading to Camp Perry for the National Matches. I was able to sight it in at 200 yards--that's the longest range locally available--before shooting for real at 200, 300 and 600. I used "book" come ups in my first match, used the results of that match to adjust for my second match and was "on". Good, bright optics. Nice crisp audible and tactile clicks. Based on the limited experience of sighting in and shooting two matches, the scope adjustments seem to be repeatable. I like the scope reticle, too; for shooting service rifle at a bull, the round dot in the reticle felt even more instinctive to center on the target than cross-hairs. It's definitely going to be part of my match setup. It's also an absolute steal for the price.

This optic has excellent clarity for the cost, wide field of view at 1 power, large and forgiving "eye-box" and a seemingly true 1 power at anything over 5 meters. Keep in mind, there is no absolute true 1 power at very close range with magnified optics, since the target will at the very least appear to begin where the optic's objective lens is, thus the image appears to be the length of the optic + the eye relief closer to the shooter's eye, so at close range, the target appears to be over 1 foot closer, which is significant at across-the-room distances. With this in mind, I personally have experience with the high-level LPVOs (Low powered variable optics) From Schmidt & Bender, Trijicon, Steiner, and others, using this type of optic on semi-auto carbines almost exclusively. For a scope the price of the Condor, the clarity may not be as good as the top-tier stuff, however it meets or exceeds the clarity of mid-level optics costing 2 power to 3 power as much as the Condor. Zoom ring is firm and feels solid, as do the turrets and 1/4 MOA clicks, overall construction feels more expensive than it is. The push-button illumination controls are responsive and easy to use, click both for off, click both for on, comes on or off quickly, brightness can be adjusted by clicking or holding up or down, auto-shut off feature has been reliable.
