Good Holster
I purchased this holster because no one makes a holster even remotely close to my RIA 1911 380acp or my Llama MicroMax which are almost identical to each other.Comparing these two to Browning 1911 22`s or 380acp`s,these appeared to be close in size and configuration.Upon arrival,they are very close,because both fit the holster "almost" perfectly.The Brownings are just a little longer in barrel length{3/4 of an inch}.The holster I feel would be better if it were a paddle holster,my opinion only,other than that,I am completely satisfied with this product.
Belt Clip quiz
As other reviews on this item that I have seen, one simple clue on how to release the one moving part would be helpful. The release for the belt clip is so tightly secured, the gizmo will not open.Otherwise, the fit is good although the belt clip is bulky and sets the holster out away from being a snug concealment.

kydex 1911 380 holster
Despite the photo , this is an all kydex owb belt holster . It has the lock pro quick opening clam shell type mounting system which allows a rapid removal or mounting of the holster to your belt . It can also adjust to your belt width in 1/4 inch adjustments . This also allows a bit of up/down placement of the holster to belt top to suit you . The mounting system does place your holster a bit further away from your body , so it might be a negitive on consealment , but it does allow your thumb to fit behind the grip for a secure draw . It also allows the thumb to push against the top of the mounting system to pop the pistol out with a great reduction in that kydex holster release noise . The .380 fits perfect and the holster can be tightened / loosened on it's grip to suit you . This holster does not carry a spare mag ( again , photo is of wrong holster ) .
I am quite happy with it and would buy it again .
