Mike's Review of Browning Midas Electronic Hearing Protector - Black 12627
They allow you to hear normal conversation, and they cut out when shooting, but the level of sound reduction during shooting isn't that great. They are fine for use with smaller calibers, but if you are planning on shooting something outrageously loud then look elsewhere.
