Browning Midas Electronic Hearing Protector

I haven't had a chance to use these on the firing range, but I did try them on in the house and they performed very well. By adjusting the volume control I could hear voices clearly, but all other ambient noise was largely cancelled out. I will revisit this rating after I have used them on the range.

works well for the money

i gave it five stars for the money. it works pretty good has some wind noise when it is turned up all the way. but ive found no need to turn it up that loud anyway. im sure you could get alot less distortion with the volume up if your willing to pay alot more money. overall works great for the price IMO

Browning Midas Hearing Protection

This Browning Midas Hearing Protection System is good looking as all Browning products as is fictional as stated. The noise cancelling system is very efficient and allows to have safe conversation at the range when shooting with friends or listening to an instructor.

Not what you expect

The promotional description leads one to believe there is feedback noise cancellation technology involved. Not so. The "electronics" are a tiny microphone to allow hearing a conversation. The over the head band is too tight. We're not pin heads needing extra squeezing.f

They work, but not the best

They allow you to hear normal conversation, and they cut out when shooting, but the level of sound reduction during shooting isn't that great. They are fine for use with smaller calibers, but if you are planning on shooting something outrageously loud then look elsewhere.

Easily the best deal

These are sturdy and simple to use. They require 2 AA batteries instead of some hard-to-find battery. The right muff holds the batteries and also controls the left muff. It works very well. I got my order USPS in less than a week. Optics Planet is very reliable.

The Browning Midas Electronic Hearing Protector Headset works perfectly. I can hear even low-level conversations well, it's comfortable, and it reduces harmful noise to a minumum. It's a great buy.
