Recoil Hawg
Best muzzle brake for the money!!!does what it states..Def recoil reduction and simple install..I've tried several different brakes and this one is as effective as some that are 3 times the price!!!
Works and looks great!
Easy installation and a significant reduction of recoil on my 300 Win Mag. The muzzle brake looks good and didn’t add any significant weight to my rig.

easy install and great fit
I used a 1/2 AccuWeather because my barrel profile didn’t allow this to meet up with the barrel shoulder but it looks great and was easy to install. Getting the timing down took a few times tightening down before I knew exactly where it would end up.

Nice but beware!
The muzzle brake itself is very well made tungsten color mtch is perfect. The only problem I had like others I have read is the small bar you use to snug the brake will bend easily. So I used small amount of blue loctite to ensure it stays put.

Massive difference
This is my 2nd recoil hawg I've purchased. Have 1 on an x-bolt 30-06, and 1 on a bergara wilderness ridge in 300 win mag. Makes both not suck to shoot.

Recoil Hawg muzzle brakes work best for me.
I have four Ruger American Predator Gen II rifles. All four came with a radial style muzzle brakes. It has been my experience, on these rifles, that the radial style muzzle brake hinders the group/accuracy. After trying numerous brakes, I finally found one that works, the Recoil Hawg. The Competition Recoil Hawg is even better. I would recommend the Recoil Hawg and/or Competition Recoil Hawg muzzle brakes to friends or family.

Barrel nut wrong size
I ordered the standard Recoil Hawg that supposedly came with the ⅝ & ½ " barrel nut for my Savage 110 Trail Hunter Lite with the ⅝"x24 threads. The larger barrel nut supplied with the package did not fit my rifle. Contacted Browning a couple of times to straighten out the error. Long story short Browning is sending me another barrel nut hopefully that will fit my rifle. I have ordered a different set in the past with no issues, fit and finish was great. Not sure if this is just a one time mistake but hopefully Browning will keep a tighter ship on quality control. Other than that a great product.

Works with Magneto chronograph
I like the cerekote finish. I like how it mounts and that it’s short enough to use a Magneto Chronograph. Don’t expect to see you shot hit, at least with a 7mm PRC.

awesome muzzle break
My buddy has the Browning Recoil Hawg on his rifle. I had none on mine, as we talked he said try mine. So I did. It was awesome, reduce felt recoil, and helped keep rifle from moving . Liked it so much I purchased my own.
