Best muzzle brake for the money!!!does what it states..Def recoil reduction and simple install..I've tried several different brakes and this one is as effective as some that are 3 times the price!!!
Great muzzle break
Installed this on a Browning X-Bolt 2 300PRC. This thing performs as advertised, plain and simple. I’m used to shooting a lever action .45-70, so my shoulder is used to the abuse. This Recoil Hawg really tames the recoil equal to my Remington 760 .30-06. Installation was a breeze. So far I’ve shot 2 boxes of ammo and it hasn’t loosened up at all. One word of advice is muzzle blast. This bad boy redirects muzzle blast left and right make sure no one is standing in close proximity of the muzzle blast.

Browning recoil hawg. I ordered this product from another store. It showed up quickly ,but not the right item. Ordered the correct model but wrong one showed up. Optics planet had the same product same sku. 4 days later correct muzzle break. Still waiting on box to send wrong one back, to store

Muzzle Break
The break works as reported. The only issue is the installation process. It states to use thin coating of oil and tighten. I tightened to where I bent the installation tool. I took the gun to the range and shot 3 times and noticed the recoil was heavy on the third shot. I looked at the barrel and the break was gone. I searched but could not find. If using the break, make sure you check tightness after every shot. I purchased another and used Loc-Tight and have had no problem.

Used on my Browning 7mm mag x bolt max long range recoil feels like a 243.

Browning Recoil Hawg
Product worked great for the first 4 shots. After the 4th shot the Recoil Hawg was missing. Installation recommendation said use light oil only. Tightened to specifications and actually bent installation rod. I should have checked tightness after every shot. I also recommend using a little Loc-tite blue. I ordered another to replace.

Easy installation and a significant reduction of recoil on my 300 Win Mag. The muzzle brake looks good and didn’t add any significant weight to my rig.
