I had higher hopes for this compass. The index line is not properly centered, the sighting wire is crooked, the needle tracks slowly, and worst of all, the needle settles in the wrong position more often than not. I don't know how this one made it out the factory door, or if they are all like this. Regardless, I will not be purchasing another .
Cons: Poor quality in manufacturing, poor performance
