stove works well...as advertised it heats water quickly. I tried deep frying fish in oil in an 8 inch dia. fry pan. didn't get the oil as hot as I liked it. This stove is made for smaller pots. Flame adjustment is good!! Woudl purchase again at 22.50!

Brunton Talon Backpacking stove
The Brunton Talon is an extremely compact and light basic backpacking stove. High output boils a liter of water in about 3 minutes. The canister needs to be kept warm to work at full efficiency, but I don't plan on doing much winter backpacking. I also really like how it fits inside the matching IBcookset along with a large canister of butane.
