Have been to range several times since purchase of this scope. About 60 rounds fired in my 6mm223 (aka 6x45) rifle with this scope. FWIW, this is one of my more accurate rifles up to 200 yds. Not unusual for me to shoot 3/8" groups with this rifle at 100 yds plus. Have done this at 200 yds too, when no wind to bother me.
Rated this scope only three stars and the reasons are: the turret adjustments for windage and elevation and its fine crosshair with a target dot.
I reload and quite often show up at range to shoot a load that's different from one previously shot in rifle and therefore am probably needing to change the elevation. Wind may be different too, so I'll be adjusting the turrets from its previous setting. Found the 1/8th MOA turret adjustments on this Downrange scope kinda hard to feel when turning. Noticed no problem moving my bullets around on my target when I adjusted them.....despite the feel of the turrets. In short, my bullets, after adjustments, hit on target where they should have.
As to its target dot fine crosshair. Crosshair is fine, but no problem with it. But, the dot is darn small, very difficult for me to see. The box for the scope had two pictures of its crosshair on some critters. The crosshair and the dot must have been enhanced in the pictures on the box. Neither the crosshair is as thick or the dot is as large, as shown in the pics on box.
Optics quality is OK. For me it was clear edge to edge, but think at 32X, there was a very sm...
