Most Helpful Positive Review BSA 8-32x44MM adjustable platinum target scope
I have several BSA scopes and for the money they cannot be beat. For shooting paper with 79yr old eyes its outstanding . I do not expect it to match my Leupold VX 11 in quality but the BSA leaves a lot of change in the pocket at purchase. I switch the two scopes between 30x06 Win 70 & BAR. Pros: outstanding scope for the money Cons: its not a leupold

Disappointing

by Jean, from New Zealand Written on August 21, 2016
The turrets are indexed by tens whilst the 1/8moa clicks are supposed to be 8 clicks for a moa. So if you were to adjust what would normally be 1moa on other scopes, Moving the turret from 0 to 10 (silly index, should just have been 0 - 1) you actually adjusted 1 1/4 moa. Clicks are almost non-existing. Turrets does not look the same as the photo in the listing. Very disappointed - out it goes

Good Compromise

by CSshooter, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on June 28, 2016
This is my 2nd one. I have one in a Savage 308 and now on a Savage Mark II f-v SR 22lr. It holds zero on both rifles after 100s of rounds and is clear. Sure, it does not have the clarity of a high price scope, but is a good compromise and serves my needs.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • not as clear as a high price scope

Im happy with this one!

by Shootin mosins, from OH, United States Written on December 25, 2015
Bought this for long range shooting in mosin nagant. Ultra happy, super clear optic. Have had about 3-350 rounds thru. Staying on target.
Tried a few different walmart and bass pro scopes. This one puts them all to shame.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • None

PD Shooter

by EP, from AL, United States Written on July 13, 2015
Have only had this scope on a 22 RF so far. The turret adjustments were good and the lenses are clear as my old model of this scope, and maybe a bit clearer at 28 and 32X. I haven't used this one under field conditions yet, only target at 50 yards. I do like the turrets on the older model a bit better as they're easier and quicker to manipulate. All in all for the money it's worth the dollars spent as long as it doesn't break.

Cons:

Nice product

by chris, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on February 23, 2015
Bought it about 3 weeks ago. I still haven't had the chance to hit down the range. But on opening the box, the scope is well done. The field is clear and bright at 8x, it's also fine at 32x. For such a price, BSA has done a good job!

Decent Value

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on August 7, 2011
This scope is very good for the low price. So far, I have not had any problems with it. I am certain the higher priced competitive scopes have better features and optics. Also, I would not use this scope for any mag above 24x

Pros: Low price

A decent scope for the price.

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on July 25, 2011
BSA offers a decent scope for the price but optical clarity suffers at high magnification. We are routinely using this scope at no more than 28x, shooting a .17HMR cal. rifle at 100 yds. Above that, eye relief is terrible and objects look fuzzy. If you buy this scope expecting high performance you'll be disappointed. However if you need a scope that gets the job done at a low price, this scope would be a great choice.
Pros: Price
Cons: Optical clarity at high magnification
