I lost a lot of money and time trying to get these bsa super tall rings to work on customers gun. the threads on the ring bases stripped when I tried to mount his scope I bored and tapped thru holes and used 6x32 cap screws to fix that and mounted on rifle while sighting in could not get a consistant poi looked at rear base and the threaded insert had come loose customer need the rifle the next day I made a rail to extend a set of tall kelby type rings that I had on hand to get him had already quoted job so had to eat machine time and materials. please do not sell any more of these

Normally it can be expected that a little tweaking be done on aftermarket products, but I have to ask what kind of company sends out a product with only one set of bolts that fit? The extra high position matches up perfectly, and if that's what you are needing then this is the mount for you.. If you want anything else then there is no need to buy this scope mount.. BSA actually sends you medium and low bolts that have a larger head on them , making it impossible to get the bolt flush... Tighten as much as you can and you'll find the very top of the Allen bolt rides in the valley of the ring and makes it impossible to fit your scope.... I was hesitant to buy from this manufacturer and this, again, proves to me why.. Save your money on this one folks.. Spend a little more (or the same, as this isn't the best value) and get something that works.. Learn from my mistake
