I typically find Optics Planet's prices on scopes cheaper than other sites. In fact, I purchased a second Cats eye scope from them (3-12 power).Would recommend reviewing their site prior to any purchase.
Pros: great price, side parallax correction (could use a bigger wheel)
Cons: jeweler's screwdriver needed to reset target zeros.

This is a great scope for any hunter, plinker or anything.I put it on my Savage Arms .17 tr with great results. So far its been super accurate and very clear. The 4x16 zoom helped me make 250yd shots ease! The adjusters are easy to use and make sighting in very quick.THIS IS A GOOD SCOPE,at least for the price. The only trouble was the mounts were a little low so it barely touches the barrle but only by like .001".Would recomend to any one, especialy varmint hunters.
Pros: crystal cear,easy to use,inexpensive,accurate
Cons: wish it had mil-dot reticle

Great value. My only con is the zero settings . Owning a contender model. I prefer that model over the catseye. The zero settings on the contender are so easy to set compared to this scope
Pros: value
Cons: zero settings

Although I wouldn't want the windage and elevation knobs to be too loose on my scope, the knobs on this scope seem like they need extra effort to unlock and operate. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The zoom knob felt tight as well, but being a brand new scope, the parts might loosen up to my liking. I would also like to see another version with MIL dots (if that's possible with variable magnification scopes). All-in-all, this is a very good rifle scope for the price. The zoom, parallax adjustment, and general feel are better than expected, given the cost.
Pros: The zoom works great when firing at different ranges in one shoot.
Cons: The knobs seem to be hard to pull out and push back in and some of the adjustments seem tight.
