this scoped worked very well up to 50 yards. at 100 yards, the red dot was to large to get a direct hit on the bulls eye. overall it functions well, the light is not bright enough and is of no use other than in very tight quarters. laser was easy to set up and get lined up with the dot. Can't focus the dot so it's kind of blurry, it says its a 5MOA dot but it's more like a 25 MOA fuzzy dot
Pros: Relatively inexpensive
Cons: The dot is not very sharp in the scope.

Not worth the money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from MN, United States Written on February 14, 2011
The first unit I received had corroded batteries in the laser sight. I got all kinds of arguments from the Optics Planet folks on the phone because they insisted it was a red dot sight and not a laser sight. I finally got a replacement and took it to the range. The red dot sight was OK on my Ruger Mark III Target pistol, but it drifted an inch or so at a 50 foot range. The laser sight was terrible on my 45 cal XDm. Even when I tightened the mounting screws to the max, the sight shifted off its mount after about 20 rounds. I couldn't keep it on target - I shot far better using the iron sights. I don't recommend wasting any money on cheap junk like this from China. Spend a little more and get something that works.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor reliability and performance
