Good Optic
I love the ability to adjust the scope to the different grains of the bullets. It really helps you get out and reach things more accurately. I use it on my Savage A17, and it is a beaut to hunt groundhogs and squirrels.

Disappointed, at best.
I swapped my 12 year old Leupold Mk AR mod1 from my Savage 93 .17 hmr onto my new Savage B22. Prior to swapping my new BSA Sweet 17 onto my .17, I could regularly print 1" groups at 100 yards. Today, I tried to get an initial zero at 50 yards and fired three 6 inch groups at 50 yards (getting it on...

Not impressed, poor quality
I ordered this scope and returned it. The crosshair was canted off to the right. When the scope was level, the top of the crosshair was nearly 45 degrees tilted to the right. Also, the manual shows the turret is marked for ranges from 100-300 yards. It is in fact only marked to 250 yards. When I called BSA customer service the representative was not helpful. After a time, he did agree to "make a note of it", referring to the manual not being accurate. At this time, I could not recommend this scope.

Good scope
Good quality scope, nice and clear. Focus adjustment is very nice, I've only had cheap scopes prior to this one.

Yet another BSA proves to be SWEET and no Bitterness
I got my 1st BSA Scope a Sweet 22 I think pushing 30 years ago. Liked so much got 6 or 7 more over a short period of time. Then also many others and this one was just like the rest. Without bore site or ant troubles put it on a heavy barrel Savage 17 HMR and 1st round down range 100 yards was -4.5" and 1.75 right few clicks next round was -.75 and .25 right next 5 were a jagged extended whole. 200 rounds later so far still right there and 200 yards down they were only -.25 from center so very happy and honestly won't be shooting it at 200 often if going to do that and using 17's then it will be the 17WSM.
Pros:
- The screw in covers keep lenses clean
Cons:
- screw in lenses are a pain if in the woods
Best Used for:
- Tree rats Varmits and teaching new shooters

Perfectly designed for the .17 HMR
This is an absolute value! This scope has the same quality and features as some of my much more expensive scopes. The yardage adjustable turret is awesome. It takes out the guess work for both near and far shots. I would definitely recommend this scope to anyone who has a .17 HMR rifle.
Pros:
- Lightweight and very good quality
Cons:
- It did not come with weaver style scope rings but it did come with picatini style rings.
