Just buy it!
For the price, this optic is absolutely an awesome choice... you simply cannot go wrong with this scope... the optics are crisp and clear; the interchangeable bullet weight ballistic turrets work great, allowing for quick and precise range adjustments without having to rely on holdover marks; it placed shots within 2" groups at 50-yards right after the initial bore sighting! and 1" groups after tweaking; also, this was accomplished using Federal AutoMatch 325-pack bulk ammo! I would purchase this scope again, and recommended it for others.
Very Clear scope!
This is the perfect scope for my 50 year old Ruger 10/22 carbine. Only problem is one of the screw holes in the ring mount to the base has no threads in it. Hopefully one screw will hold it on the dovetail mount.
Would recommend: Yes
Great scope but.....
I love this scope, problem is one of the screw holes on the mount base rings has no threads in it. Im hoping it'll hold with one screw. Its a dovetail mount so it might be ok.
Pros:
- great sight picture
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Good scope for the price.
Put it on my Grandpa's 22 as a replacemescopent for his old tube scope. Compared it to my Leopold (way more expensive then this one) and my cablela's scope (2.5× the price of this one) and I was impressed with the clarity and light intake for the price. If you're just looking for something to snipe the critters with and plink sometimes then this is more then good enough.
Pros:
- Price, clarity, easy to use
Cons:
- Had to file the dove tail on the rings to fit the older 22.
Best Used for:
- Short to mid range plinking and small game.

BSA Sweet 22 3x9x40
Great looking scope that I purchased for my Glenfield Model 20 / 22LR. I didn’t want a scope that superseded the cost of the gun, so this was a perfect fit! This paired with high see-thru mounts worked perfectly for the standard iron sights. Thank you!
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- clarirty
Cons:
- None for me
Best Used for:
- .22

BSA sweet 22
It is a good rifle scope for starting to get new people in to the long range shooting for not a lot of money it helps teach basic bullet drop to a new shooter it is also a good tool for small game hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Best 22 scope
I own 3 of these Sweet 22 scopes for my Ruger 10/22 rifles and Savage BTVS and they are great. With multiple bullet weight turrets you can set the rifle to compensate the point of aim for super accurate shooting, and the glass is really clear. The price point is very low for this scope but doesn’t mean you’re going to be disappointed with the quality, trust in BSA to give you a nice scope for your 22 rifle.
Pros:
- Clear glass & Reticle
- Great price excellent product support from manufacturer
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- 22 rifles
Would recommend: Yes
The Sweetest, Sweet 22 scope on the planet
Im not talented at writing reviews but, with that said...This isn't my first BSA Sweet 22, in fact it is my 4th as I have this scope mounted on all of my .22 cal rifles. The newest one was mounted on my Henry H004 .22 Golden Boy that took an already very accurate rifle to the next level. The scope is bright and clear even in fairly low light. BSA supplies two extra dials 3 total that are designed for different bullet weights and they work quite well for me. The focus and zoom rings have a smooth feel during adjustment. The zoom is fantastic, at 100 yrds you can zoom up very close to the target...no need for a spotting scope to see if you are zeroed in. There really is nothing negative about this scope that I have found. Side by side with the my older 20yr old BSA's you can see the quality is even better and my older ones are still driving tacks. Yes I would recommend this Scope to anyone looking to add a scope to their .22
