Suprisingly well constructed
Ok, I bought this scope to get by until I could save up the funding for a "real" tactical scope ie.. nightforce or usoptics. After recieving the scope I was very suprised that the cunstruction seems very rigid and the adjustments (MOA and Magnification) felt very crisp, the push pull turret is actually pretty handy so you don't inadvertently move your turrets. Tales from down range.
I purchased this scope back in 2008 to 2009, it preformed very well. My unit was deploying that year and we managed to cobble together some high accuracy m16s into a makeshift DMR rifle. Long story short I wanted something to put on top of the weapon that would give greater magnification and extend the platoon's ability. We did not have funding for DMR Scopes and all the optics had gone to the engineer company's new ACOGs. With some of my own money we purchased 3 of these and mounted them on the new rifles. Al three held up to combat conditions in OIF-9 and operation New Dawn. The MOA adjustment and turret locks kept their zero while allowing for some minor corrections. This is by no means the best optic on the planet but it is reliable and dependable for the price we paid for them.
Pros:
- Crisp and clear optics, highly adjustable.
Cons:
- Heavy, requires a high profile mount.
Best Used for:
- Putting rounds on target.
