Not the best, definitely not the worst.
I bought this simply for the price, as a "beater" scope for my everyday ranch tool. It does the job but longer range accuracy is very questionable as is the zero between shots. Heavy duty little scope!
I put this 'lil Tactical scope on a 20 gauge shotgun to shoot slugs with! Works perfect for me and I ordered another one for my 12 gauge!

Perfect size as a compact scope
This BSA 4X30 Tactical scope was mounted on my new Ruger/Marlin 336 in .357 magnum and it looks and balances great. I will shoot it next week, but the BSA scopes always exceed expectations, don't they. These compact scopes are perfect for the Marlin lever actions. I'll soon order one more for another lever action rifle. Optics Planet has achieved the magic balance of quality and price.

Solid Scope
I put this little scope on an AR-47 (7.62x39 AR) with the carry handle and Picatinny rail on top , for mainly 100 yards and in. It was easy to bore sight and I had the scope dialed in within 8 shots. I have put about 180 rounds through with the scope attached and the zero is staying rock solid so far. It is a clear little scope , with easy lift and dial adjustments on the windage and the elevation , so no need for any tools to adjust or sight in , once the scope is mounted. It is hard to beat for the price , considering you get mounts for the carry handle / Picatinny rail and the SKS mount also. I have had good luck with BSA scopes in the past on a few firearms so hopefully this one will hold up as well as they have.

- I understand the SKS mount usually needs some fine tuning

Helps an old man to keep on hunting
I bought one of these scopes years ago to put on a .22 rifle. It worked so well that I bought one to put on another .22 that I recently bought. I am 70 years old and don't see so well anymore , so these small scopes help me pick up my targets very quickly. I think that they are great !
