More than a skinner
The curved edge and hollow gring make a very good slicer for wood shavings, tomatoes or anything else. The square spine is makes a good sparker with a ferro rod. Very useful all around small knife.

Buck 103 Skinner
I've been a fan of Buck Knives since I received a 102 Woodsman for Christmas in 1981. That very knife is still my "go to," but I am always adding to a collection it seems. The 103 is clearly a specialty blade; the big belly and blunt tip make it ideal for skinning. The handle is a little fatter than the 102 and feels good in the hand. The steel is as expected (some love Buck steel and some don't); it stays sharp as long as I touch it up between uses.
