tactical shotgun case
Here we have a bulldog 35 inch case purchased for a shotgun. Have found that my bullpup MSAR fits in this case as well. Bulldog quality and OP has provided a very good price .
Pros: As advertised good quality great value
Cons: So far have nothing bad to say about this case

Not a 35" case!
It won't accept guns longer than 33". It's not even a 35" case on the *outside*. OpticsPlanet knew this, because this is mentioned on the manufacturer's website, but they listed it is a 35" case anyway.
Pros: Low cost, reasonably well made
Cons: Doesn't fit!
Remington 870
42" bag just fits a Remington 870 Magnum Express with a Surefire forend and a side mount shell rack. It is a little tight around the shell rack.

Well made small soft case
Heavy construction and good workmanship. Probably overkill for my glassing tripod, but it fits.

Bulldog shotgun case
This is my 5th purchase of a Bulldog firearm case, the are beautifully made and hold up well for their price. This one was purchased to transport a broken down standard size semi auto shotgun. It’s the only one I could find that would do it! I just put the barrel into a separate gun sock so there’s no rubbing. Works great and all those Karen’s think it’s a pool cue stick! Years ago many manufacturers had similar cases with separate compartments for the barrel and stock, but not many out there now!
Pros:
- Keeps them guessing whats inside
Cons:
- It would be nice to add D rings so you could carry it over your shoulder
Best Used for:
- Disguising a firearm

Does the job.
I bought two in 2020. They do the job fine. Its very basic but fulfills its purpose 100%. It's five stars as long as you get it for the right cheap practical price.

Perfect fit!
So to answer all the dimension questions. I first looked at these in store before ordering here and they're all the same height/depth @ 9" external. Their advertised length is true externally. I have the 35", it is 35x9" externally and 34x8" internally. Be advised you'll need a couple spare inches internally in length to zip it closed, primarily for the buttstock end of the firearm. My firearm is 32.5" which fits perfect and there is more than enough height/depth for the pistol grip buttstock. The padding is firm and the overall quality is 7 out of 10, after all they're relatively inexpensive. I find the zipper to be very adequate, douse it with WD40 and it works like butter. I'm also very pleased with the pockets. Using 2 3/4" 12ga you can line the bottom with two rows of three end to end, fill the six loops and put one more on each end of that (8 vertically), then one more row of three end to end on top of those for 17 shells in a single layer, 34 total in both pockets!
Pros:
- Price Construction
Cons:
- None so far !
Best Used for:
- Shotgun (12 Gauge)

Inferior Quality
I have at least a half dozen bulldog cases and have never had a problem, until now. The quality on this case doesn't rate one star, but that was the lowest rating the automated process would allow. The zipper on this one is useless, it keeps opening up. The height of this case is the smallest that I have encountered in decades, so anything you put inside bulges the case outwards and causes the zipper to open up, spilling the internal contents. This cases is definitely not as described and I am surprised that Optics Planet would sell this POS.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- listed above
Best Used for:
- Nothing comes to mind

Amazing case
This case is amazing. Its the nicest $20 case I've ever seen. I've seen $80 cases that were cheaper than this. I'm using it to fit my Ruger M77 357 with bipod, and I also have one for my Winchester 1894 lever action. As long as your gun is under 8×36, it will fit.

shotgun case
works great for my mossberg 500
the price is very reasonable.
there is plenty of extra room for additional ammo and ascessories. the material appears to be very durable and the zipper works well.
the internal padding keeps the weapon safe from scrapes and scratches
