Best Value in a smaller rifle case
This case is a great value for $12.95 at the time of this posting. The case is well constructed and you would think that it cost twice what you paid for it. If you are looking for a nice case for a smaller rifle even with a scope look no further.

Not 44-in.
Ordered the 44-inch Bulldog case which was marked 44 on hang tag and the tag stitched inside as well. However, at most this case had outside measurement shy of 43 inches and that was on a slight diagonal. The widest inside measure is 42 inches. Where the zipper actually returns on the wide end it is less than 41 inches. I may have received a mismarked bag but something to check on first.

A great and inexpesive case
Five stars is based a lot on the price of less than $12. The case is surprisingly well made. The padding is about 3/4" thick, but it is not a very dense foam rubber. The outer fabric and inner lining add a lot to padding the rifle; for the money it is still better than expected. I purchased two of these cases to get a few of my seldom used rifles to the range and it does the job well. The question of "how long of a rifle or shotgun will a 44" case hold?" comes up when buying a case online. I would say that the maximum length would be a 42" rifle or shotgun and that could be pushing it. The case is about 8 1/2" tall at the high point, but look carefully at the shape in the picture. The case is not shaped like a regular scoped case. Anything over about 6 1/2" tall probably won't fit.

Bull Dog economy case
Excellent case for the money, well padded, heavy duty zipper and carrying handle. Surprising quality for the price. Have purchased many of these in various sizes and never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

I needed a case for my scoped SKS and didn't want to spend a fortune. This case fit the bill. My rifle fits perfectly with a little room to spare.

Bulldog 44 inch Rifle Case
Good product for the price. Full length zipper goes around end of case for a couple of inches whic could mar buttstock. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of. They are adequately padded, accept rifle with scope and seem durable. I have half a dozen and the do the job without breaking the bank.

Bulldog 44 inch Rifle Case BD100-44
Case if fine and the price is right. Don't like it that the zipper goes around the butt end of the case and around the bottom of the case for about 2 inches. Potential to mar stock at this point. No protecter strip on inside of zipper. Othewise fine utility case.
