My favorite holster has always been the leather paddle type. But with the plastic guns I thought I'd try a plastic holster. This unit works very well with the Glock 42 and the pressure release lock functions great. Be aware though that it is harder to slip the holster on and off versus a leather one. Because of two protrusions inside the fold (designed, I assume, to keep it more secure). The holster itself is pretty inflexible so it resists slipping over the belt and pant material - it will do it, but not as readily as my leather ones do.
