SOFT AND PADDED TRANSPORT
This was my first experience with Bulldog cases. I'm one of those that reviews things to death before I buy. Most all of the reviews I read were positive with very very few less than 3 stars and most 5 stars, so I gave it a shot. BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!!
So my primary, actually only use for these pistol cases/rugs is to transport my pistols to and from the range, no long term storage, shipping or anything like that. Just something padded, durable and not going to break the bank. This does that just perfect.
The shell of the case is a Cordura type water resistant/repellant just what i wanted/need( plus the camo pattern is kinda cool!!)
I was very pleasantly surprised by the thickness and paddiness(? Okie English!!) of the case, I have no worries that my pistol will be more than adequately protected in side here!! And while I didn't try a wide variety of handguns in it i do know my Ruger New Modle Super Blackhawk 30 Carbine with a 7.5 inch barrel will fit, albeit very snug but it does have oversized wooden grips.
The zippers seem fine and so far I haven't had any issues with them catching/hanging or separating and honestly, I don't think I will unless I try closing on something to big for the case. The only improvemt I might suggest would be to make the zipper one size bigger- as they are they work fine but a little bigger would be a plus.
So, would I recommend? DEFINITELY
Would I buy again? ALREADY HAVE
