I was excited to receive this camera for 200-300 yard high-power shooting on a formal range. I spent hours trying to get it working w/ my dedicated 17" Dell laptop without the software finding the camera. I waited over 30 min on hold for SME Tech Support only to learn that the unit now only works with an iPad / Android tablet or some advanced phone, i.e. iPhone, etc. The Bullseye Camera WILL NOT work with MS Windows any longer. Windows is not supported & I ot an "apology." What? My hopes of having a large display are gone & I'm not inclined to also buy a new tablet or iPhone when I have plenty of laptops.
Cons:
- Does not work with Windows laptops

The initial camera system I received had lost the router configuration and wouldn't work. The router settings to set the SSID and talk to the camera were wiped and support had no clue how to fix it. The only option was to get a replacement. The gentleman on the support line was courteous but not very helpful. The replacement I received from Optics Planet works great at 50 yards. Anything past that and I can't keep a solid connection with the camera. The wifi keeps dropping. This range is in the middle of nowhere. There is no cell service and power lines aren't anywhere close. So interference isn't an issue. The software isn't fantastic or horrible.
Bottom Line: Look strongly at the competition. The advertised range seems suspect even in ideal conditions and real technical support isn't available.

This is a cool toy that does a good job at seeing your target from a distance. The line of sight part is important especially at the max distance. If you can't physically see the box you're not going to see the picture. As long as you get a picture it is cool with the last shot feature

Do not buy this product. I purchased this camera system to use with the Boy Scout Rifle Merit Badge - 50 ft, NRA A-17 target. Target through the camera is very fuzzy and you can not focus it. Camera is very difficult to place and when emailing customer support, 2+ weeks and 3 emails and no responses. Emails to the parent company go to a non-existent server and get kicked back. They will not recognize that this product is not what they show on their website or any of the demos. The demos use a higher res camera not offered with this system.

The camera performs as promised. I placed six 6" targets up with a few extra red dots at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions.
I was able to easily frame the targets with the camera and software. I shot three hundred rounds over several hours and was able to see every shot. The only time I left the bench was to set up and take down. The picture is good the software is great. I used my phone for set up and a 7" tablet on the bench. The phone and tablet have reduced function as compared to the laptop. I love this camera it is well worth the money.
Pros:
- easy set up, easy to use,
- convenient configuration

Got this for Christmas from my wife. She purchased 2 year warranty. Camera got hit and burned to a crisp.
Sent remains back following the detailed instructions from company after a 2 hour call to them. Six weeks later I called to find out status. They told me there was no record of the camera coming back or any other info concerning the two hour call I had with them. $428 wasted. The camera is likely to get damaged having to be placed down range in line of fire. Great idea but short lived.
Cons:
- camera likely to be damaged they dont honor warranty

Hi guys. Here is my experience with bullseye camera system with sight-in edition. Shipping was good, no complains. Surprise came when I was setting up the camera. Instructions pretty simple, download the application set the camera, turn it on and should work, right? No. Error came on camera - can't connect with my device. Carefully went trought a troubleshooting, nothing. Called Optics planet. They gave me the number to call manufacturer. I did. I have explained to lady that I am setting my camera inndoor for a first time to see if it works. No, I have to go outside she sad. I tried outside, noting. Called again. Other lady on the phone (both nice) but doesn't help eater this time. Even we reset whole unit. My brain was active for another few minutes but no success. I did call again, 3rd times and now I have got gentleman on the line. He was nice too. Explain to him my problem I am having and he asked me what service provider I have for my phone. I sad Verizon. Ohhhhh. Our units works with AT&T and T-Mobile only. So now, should I change my existing phone service which I am happy with or open the new plan just to operate my camera probably once a month or return the unit? I would love to keep the bullseye camera, but wouldn't be perhaps more smart if optics planet, midway usa, all the places who is selling the unit and most important the manufacturer mention that this unit is limited to two service providers(AT&T and T-Mobile)??? ...

As I get more grey hair my eyes don't seem to care how good my spotting scope is!! This outfit looks like my answer to "aging eyes". It flat WORKS!! I don't own a tablet (yet) so I borrow my wife's when I go to the range as the screen on my phone isn't large enough to be effective. I think my buddies will soon follow suit.

Works Great. Easy to set up. Clear Picture.
Never have to walk down to see your target.
Zeroed 3 rifles without having to leave the bench.
Everybody needs one. Have bought the 1000 yard system for our rifle range.
