Burris TAC30
Very clear glasses! Reticle is day light visble. At 1x, it is not as fast as other red dot or Eotech sight due to the eye release limitation. I wish that the center dot is 2 MOA or smaller.
TAC30 1-4x is great scope to buy around $300 and life time warranty services from Burris.

Good Scope, One Major Issue
Other than the illumination button, this is a great scope. The glass is sharp and clear, and the reticle style works great for me.
I had read reviews mentioning issues with the illumination button, but didn't realize how bad the button is. If you put the cap on for the battery compartment too ...

Tac30 with fast fire 3
I’ve been enjoying this scope. The scope has quality glass and the reticle is easy to find whether it’s day or night. The reticle illuminates red at 9 different intensities. The fast fire 3 red dot is also very easy to find while switching from the magnified scope to the red dot. What I really like about the fast fire 3 is that it adjusts the red dot intensity by itself depending on the light in the environment. The only negative I have about this scope is the illumination button for the scope. You really have to push it hard sometimes in order for it to respond., other than that I totally recommend this scope if you’re looking for the ability to go from magnified to 1 in a moment at a decent price.

Burris Fullfield TAC 30 w/ Fastfire 3 and AR-P.E.P.R. Mount
Great scope for the value. Very clear optics for hunting or target shooting out to two hundred yards or so. The opportunity of purchasing the combo offered a great value instead of purchasing all three separately. Found that on one power the scope works like a red dot so I removed the Fastfire 3 and I will use the Fastfire 3 on another AR. The weight was a little heavier than I expected but the quality feel of the scope was worth it. It looks and works great on my AR - 556.
Pros:
- Great value as combo
Cons:
- weight
Best Used for:
- Hunting 10 yards to 200 yards

Good scope, but watch carefully what the add says
Funny that I was sent a Please review, because I really was now all that happy with the sale. Advertisement said , Free two day shipping and the scope came with a Fastfire AR mount. This is also what the link I was sent said and what you are read says, but now free two day or Mount!
I contacted Customer service and was told I had not selected that deal. Funny then I am asked to review the scope with the mount deal.
On to the scope! Nice clear Optics 1/2 x 1/2 adjustments feels like quality made product. I find the illumination button and little hard to tell when it is all the way off, it is just a spring loaded button on the side so you need to look into the scope to make sure it is off.

Great Scope - Horrible Illumination Button
Great scope, maintains zero despite repeated recoil from 308 winchester. Clear optics, and high quality manufacturing. However, the illumination button is absolutely horrible, difficult to turn on and off, the pressure activated switch with rubberized button should have been discarded as a feature years ago - to turn off, I actually have to remove the battery.
Pros:
- rugged design
- Optical quality
Cons:
- illumination button
Best Used for:
- Close range use (100 yards and less)

My first optic for my AR platform rifle.
I am glad I read the reviews. This optic was in my budget and all the caveats were understood. The quality is tough and robust. I can see myself being a little rough with this on my rifle and not worrying about the thing taking a little knick or bite out of it. I, as well as others, will concede the push button feature for the illumination is a poor design. It still works and the button does what it says, its just a little sloppy when powering it off. The reticle is my favorite part; really easy to dial in the target. The eye relief is exactly where you need it to be on the 1 power. I like it for short distance targets and at my 200 yard range it qualifies just fine.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Reticle easy to see
- Durable (good luck breaking it)
- Great picture
Cons:
- No lens covers provided
Best Used for:
- CQC Situations
- intermediate distance

What a view!
I'm very happy with this purchase. I put the Tac30 on my 20" AR to get out there, you know. My zen comes when I have my target in the frame. I start to think about my breathing, get my thoughts clear. I begin to settle the bullseye dialed in. My breathing is slow and controlled, my heart is beating regularly and my finger meets the trigger. I just begin to put pressure on the trigger. I take a good breath, begin to exhale. My mind is clear. The target is in the cross hairs. I can feel the tension of the trigger in my back. Then, boom. Bullseye. All over in a split second that lasts weeks.. I love it

Burris ccq scope
Easy to install. Optics are clear and crisp.Red dot system is quickly aquiref for close targets. Scope allows magnfaction while retaking good field of view.As noted in other reviews, red dot switch is hard to activate.Hopefully will improve with more use.

Burris TAC30
I have only fired 100 rounds or so but am very pleased so far. The glass is very clear for an optic in this price range. It is perfect for what it was designed for, mid range and quick target acquisition. Definitely is NOT a long range target scope, so if that's what you are looking for buy something else. But like I said is a perfect option for my wants. The two con's are, as many others have stated, the activation button is kind of a pain and the focus and zoom turn together, which you can remedy by spending another $100 on an MTAC.

Tac 30 - Beginning 3 gun scope
I got this for my entry into 3 gun. It has seved me well in both close up and long range. The illumination feature works well in low light situations, not so much in bright daylight. Mounting was easy. It holds zero well. I really like the CQB reticle in the up close targets
Pros:
- priced well
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- 3 gun competition
