I loved the glass, the reticle and the Fastfire III. The illumination switch was my only issue. My scope continued to cycle through each setting. I removed the battery and it continued to repeat the settings. I returned the scope and ordered the Burris MTAC which has a manual switch instead of the push button on the TAC30. There is not much difference in price and the MTAC appears to be much more rugged.
