Jolly's Review of Burris XTR II 1.5-8x28mm Rifle Scope
My initial purchase was going to be a Bushnell 1x8.5 for 3G but the price of that has gone up and is unacceptable. I typically run Nikons so my price point for scopes is 5-800. On this scope its been difficult to get a sweet spot for focus between the reticle and POI. I fought with returning it several days prior to shooting it. After that my perceived benefit for 200yrd shooting accuracy was acceptable even though focus was not crisp. I did have slightly higher expectations in this scope which is why its only a 3 stars.
Pros:
- Nice reticle
- Decent magnification at 200yrds
Cons:
- weight
- Difficult to focus
