Burris xtr 1.5x-6x scope - Burris 1.5x-6x40mm Xtreme Tactical XTR Ballistic 7.62 Illum Scope

The scope pictured IS NOT the 1.5x-6x. If you zoom in you can see that the magnification reads 3x-12x in the picture Optics Planet uses. I have this on a M1A Socom. I was looking for something that could be used for reflex shooting (doable with this scope, but not like an eotech of course) as well as something with enough magnification to make use out of the distance I can get with the 7.62 round. This scope is a great compromise for being able to achieve two completely different capabilities.
Pros: Can use the illuminated retical on the 1.5x magnification for close up shots and the 6x for longer ones
Cons: The scope is larger than what I expected (this is mearly an asethitcs issue for the rifle I have mine on, NOT an issue of performance)
