Burris Extreme
This is my first Burris scope and I have to say I'm very impressed with it's
performance. I will consider other Burris products in the future. Optics
planet is the best.

Awesome Scope- incredible quality
do yourself a favor and take a look at this optic of you are looking for the do all AR-10/ Scar optic. The 40mm objective provides a great big, bright sight picture with Excellent high quality glass. The reticle is awesome- you can use the Mils to range find as well as the dead nuts holdovers that are built in with the 7.62 reticle. I truly believe the features and glass quality are on par with nightforce, Mark 4s and vortex Razors. I have a few Vortex PSTs and now 3 XTRs and the XTRs are in a different league with build quality, turrets and glass.

I am definitely liking this scope so far. Good clarity, honest adjustments, and a reticle that is versatile for rangefinding and trajectory compensation.

Awesome Scope but Could come with lens covers
For spending this kind of money, you would think they would include decent lens covers. They do give you a fabric cover but it rips when you try to get it on and off cause it is too tight.

Cons: Doesn't come with lens covers, only a cloth cover that is too small and rips taking it on and off

Burris XTR 1.5x-6x Scope
The scope pictured IS NOT the 1.5x-6x. If you zoom in you can see that the magnification reads 3x-12x in the picture Optics Planet uses. I have this on a M1A Socom. I was looking for something that could be used for reflex shooting (doable with this scope, but not like an eotech of course) as well as something with enough magnification to make use out of the distance I can get with the 7.62 round. This scope is a great compromise for being able to achieve two completely different capabilities.
Pros: Can use the illuminated retical on the 1.5x magnification for close up shots and the 6x for longer ones
Cons: The scope is larger than what I expected (this is mearly an asethitcs issue for the rifle I have mine on, NOT an issue of performance)
